Local Groups & Contacts
ACT is building a vibrant national network of local contacts and local groups which serve, support and unite Christians working in schools and colleges in England. In order to expand this ministry, ACT works in partnership with local churches and local Christian organisations, encouraging and facilitating grassroots support for Christians working in education. Our goal is to provide every Christian educator in every county in the country with at least one local contact and one local group. To volunteer your services please contact the ACT Office.
ACT Local Contacts are ACT members who are willing to be contacted by Christians working in education who live and/or work in their locality. They receive enquiries by email, telephone and mail from Christians in their area. They listen, give advice and pray. To volunteer your services please contact the ACT Office.
ACT Local Groups are led by ACT Event Organisers who are willing to organise local meetings and events for Christians working in education who live and/or work in their locality. They might, for example, choose to liaise with local schools' workers or churches to put on a termly dedication service for teachers / prayer and share supper / pizza and ten pin bowling evening / talk by a visiting speaker / retreat / workshop. To volunteer your services please contact the ACT Office.
